And The First to Speak Is.....

... A Lady called Rita.

The Dead cling effortlessly onto their christian names. It has after all, defined them throughout their entire lifetime. Surnames are dispensable, however - it bears no significance whatsoever in the afterlife.

Rita's voice came to me as I lay on my bed. She spoke softly and indistinctly at first. She simply said 'Thank you for listening." I instantly jolted out of my lying position with a fright. "It's okay," she continued, "I've decided to speak because the reception is at it's clearest right now."

I attempted to ask question after question, but it appeared she was unable to hear me. I was merely a device through which she could speak. In fact, I believed she had no clue I was a person at all. From approximately 7 O'Clock in the morning until 10a.m. she was "switching" in and out of me, and she sounded as though she was enjoying her time too.

The next entry will be Rita's words as I wrote them down. After twenty minutes, I realised this voice had a lot yet to say, and I knew everybody would want to hear it, including you.

The Dead and their past life on Earth

There are some main components that make up the information a dead person can and will convey to me. First, it is important to note that much of their 'life' memories are either gone completely or they can be recalled almost as though they are dreams - somehow distant. I can only assume that it is necessary for their departure into death to let go of their life in as relaxed a way as possible, rather than clinging onto memories that have no bearing on their new existence.

I realise there are people with many beliefs of their own and who will disagree with me to suit their ideas and scriptured texts. I am not writing this down to convert people or tell them 'this is how it is'. Take these words as pure fiction - it is completely down to you. Keep your beliefs - it doesn't bother me either way.

The degree to which a person can recall their past life, I think depends on their personality - which they retain in their new existence. Everybody is still unique, and everybody is aware of where they are and are at complete peace with that. Nobody passes on and regrets dying.

The entries I will continue to write from this point on, will elaborate on the new existence and what the dead have told me about it.
